Leading with Curiosity
Exploration is a life value for me.
My life and career paths are guided by my deep drive to get curious, learn, and Explore
I have always been drawn to complex, moving parts. In my previous career as a Director of Music, I oversaw entire school districts in high-need, under-served communities - stepping completely outside my comfort zone to build programs from the ground up.
Directing large-scale music programs requires a massive matrix of skills well beyond the creative: cross-functional collaboration, long-term data tracking and planning, resource budgeting, event management, and community relations. That experience shaped who I am as a designer today: someone who dives confidently into ambiguous challenges, balances macro-strategy with micro-details, and designs systems that help teams thrive.

I Lead by Building Up
Leadership, to me, isn’t just about making the final call. It’s about building others up — helping people understand not just what to do, but why. When teams are trusted and empowered to think independently and solve problems with confidence, the work and morale improve. Whether working with students or seasoned professionals, my goal has always been the same: create conditions where people feel valued, capable, and proud of what they build together.
